These are dual element vactrols sold in packs of 4.

One of the most frustrating aspects of the Buchla DIY scene is centered around sourcing reliable vactrols. Over the course of research, M.E.M.S. also grew frustrated with the current state of parts available- so they decided to get their own made.

Throughout their travels, measurements were taken from vactrols that were used in Lopass Gates in the field. M.E.M.S. recorded these measurements and designed these to be manufactured within those specifications. These vactrols are a popular choice for 292 gates by builders, and M.E.M.S. have now made them readily available for everyone.

IMPORTANT: M.E.M.S. vactrols are stable and reliable- but you may need extras when matching is involved. We recommend you purchase enough to keep a few spares on hand in case you want to audition or match.
